Guo Qiang, male, Han ethnicity, born in October 1970, native of Yanshi, Henan, joined the CPC in December 1996, Doctor of Management, Professor, Doctoral Supervisor.  He is responsible for teaching support, party building in directly affiliated units, social sciences, logistics, science park management, university hospital, library, and academic journals.

        Since July 1998, he has been teaching at Southwest Jiaotong University, successively serving as Deputy Dean, Executive Dean, and Party Secretary of the School of Economics and Management. Since May 2025, he has served as a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Chengdu University of Technology Committee and Vice President of the university.

        His main research and teaching focus on logistics and supply chain management, operations management, and service quality management. He has led over 20 projects at the national, provincial/ministerial, and horizontal levels. He has received 2 second prizes of the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, 1 third prize of the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, 3 third prizes of the Sichuan Provincial Outstanding Social Science Achievement Award, and 1 second prize of the Sichuan Provincial Higher Education Teaching Achievement Award. He has published over 60 academic papers. He is recognized as an Outstanding Expert with Remarkable Contributions in Sichuan Province and a Distinguished Professor of the Bayu Scholar Program.
