Business School
Founded in 2001, Business School was once Sichuan Commercial College, which was founded in 1907. It has a school-running history of over a century. Adhering to the principle of "Wisdom Sharing" and the spirit of "constant self-improvement in pursuit of excellence", the School endeavors to cultivate business elites in the new era with pragmatic spirit, good moral integrity and innovative courage, accumulate fruitful research achievements in business model innovation, resource and environmental economy, disaster economy and financial risk management, serving local economy and building a first-class business school in the west with distinctive advantages and characteristics.
The School sets undergraduate majors such as Accounting, Marketing, Economics, Investment, International Economy and Trade, Financial Management, Accounting (Joint Program by China and the UK), among which Marketing and Accounting are listed as national first-class undergraduate majors, and Economics is listed as provincial first-class undergraduate majors; It sets a master program in the primary discipline of Applied Economics, master degree programs in Finance, Accounting and International Business, and a doctoral program in the primary discipline of Management Science and Engineering, with nearly 3,000 on-campus master's and undergraduate students.
The School has also established Sichuan Economic Management Experimental Teaching Demonstration Center, Sichuan Resource and Environmental Economy Popularization Base, Sichuan Center for Disaster Economic Research, Science and Technology Innovation and New Economy Research Center in the Chengdu-Chongqing Economic Circle and Sichuan Post Doctoral Innovation Practice Base.
The School now has 16 professors, 38 associate professors, 3 doctoral supervisors, 37 master's supervisors, and 11 experts have obtained talent titles, including those granted Special Government Subsidies by the State Council; 2 Scientific Research and Innovation Teams in Sichuan universities and 1 Young Scientific and Technological Innovation Research Team in Sichuan Province have been established.
