Recently, the Yiban Development and Construction Center of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education released the Notice on the Results of the 2025 Selection and Recognition of Outstanding Yiban Co-construction Cases among Sichuan Universities (Document No. 01 [2026]). Chengdu University of Technology (CDUT) delivered an outstanding performance in this evaluation: all four submitted cases received awards and were successfully recommended for national-level recognition, fully demonstrating the University’s solid achievements and innovative vitality in Yiban construction.

The selection process, organized by the Yiban Development and Construction Center of the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education and reviewed rigorously by experts, resulted in the recognition of 26 Outstanding Yiban Co-construction Universities, 24 Outstanding Yiban Co-construction Cases, 20 Outstanding Yiban Counselors, 19 Outstanding Yiban Instructors, 19 Outstanding Heads of Yiban Workstations, and 13 Outstanding Yiban Orientation Program Cases across the province. Owing to its solid outcomes and distinctive practices in the construction, CDUT was awarded three collective honors: Outstanding Yiban Co-construction University of Sichuan Province, Outstanding Yiban Co-construction Case of Sichuan Province, and Outstanding Yiban Orientation Case of Sichuan Province. In addition, Li Maohao from the Yibin Campus was named an Outstanding Yiban Counselor of Sichuan Province.

Moving ahead, the Student Affairs Department of CDUT Committee will further strengthen Yiban’s role as a core platform, continue to advance its digital and intelligent transformation, and accelerate the integration of high-quality educational resources both on and off campus. Efforts will be made to develop “CDUT Yiban” into a supportive companion for students’ growth, and a collaborative hub for integrated student development. These initiatives aim to contribute more substantially to the high-quality development of the University’s “Double First-Class” initiative.
