Following a review by the Institutional Board of the BESIII Collaboration, the application was submitted to the Collaboration Council for a vote and was unanimously approved. With this, Chengdu University of Technology has officially become a member institution of the BESIII Collaboration. CDUT will contribute to various aspects of the BESIII experiment, including research on charm meson production and decay, detector operation and upgrades, data quality monitoring and calibration, and optimization of the software framework.

As a formal member, CDUT will gain full access to the BESIII data and software libraries, and will be eligible for authorship on all BESIII publications. Joining the BESIII Collaboration marks a significant step forward in CDUTs participation in global research in high-energy physics. It is expected to greatly advance the universitys development in the natural sciences, particularly in nuclear science & technology and physics. As one of Chinas first Double First-Class universities, CDUT will use this opportunity to further strengthen collaborations with leading domestic and international institutions in the field of high-energy physics, promote the output of high-level research achievements, and enhance its international impact.
