On March 25th, Elsevier unveiled the 2024 edition of its “Highly Cited Chinese Researchers” list, which includes 6,388 scholars from 547 institutions across universities, enterprises, and research organizations in China. The selected scholars represent 83 primary disciplines under ten academic fields categorized by the Ministry of Education of the People’s Republic of China. CDUT excelled, with five scholars securing positions on this prestigious list: Professors Huang Runqiu, Xu Qiang, Fan Xuanmei, Li Chao, and Dr. Muhammad Farhan Bashir, a postdoctoral fellow at the Business School of CDUT. By delivering cutting-edge research driven by innovative breakthroughs, these scholars have further solidified CDUT’s prominent standing in fields such as Geological Resources and Geological Engineering, as well as Geology.
