On July 31, 2020, Soarscape Technology Development (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. and SKLGP (State Key Laboratory of Geohazard Prevention and Geoenvironment Protection) held a donation ceremony of Soarscape Smart 3D Software. At the ceremony, Soarscape Technology donated a live 3D modeling software suite of Soarscape Smart 3D 2019 to SKLGP, which worth CNY 600,000 Yuan. Mr. Zhou Feichi, the GM of Soarscape Technology, introduced the company's development history in detail and showed the technical advantages, typical technical achievements and future development direction of the software in the live 3D modeling. He hoped that the domestic live 3D modeling technology could help in the scientific research of the State Key Laboratory. Prof. Xu Qiang, the vice president and executive deputy director of the Laboratory, extended gratitude to Soarscape Technology Development (Shanghai) Co., Ltd. for its contribution to the development of the laboratory. Then, he introduced the current situation of the laboratory and various major research results and analyzed on the application status and future development direction of the live 3D modeling technology in the geological disaster industry. At the end of the ceremony, Professor Xu Qiang and the General Manager Zhou Feichi carried out software handover and donation certificate issuance, and jointly unveiled the "Tilt Photography Live 3D Joint Laboratory".

    Both sides expressed the hope that through the cooperation, they should strengthen the school enterprise cooperation and the integration of production and education, and the cooperative research in the live 3D field will be carried out in depth, and in particular, further promote the application and development of live 3D modeling technology in geological disaster prevention and control.
