Zhou Zhongli, Han Chinese, born in July 1971 in Hongya, Sichuan, is a professor and doctoral supervisor who joined the Communist Party of China in November 1999. He is responsible for managing the Yibin Campus, financial affairs, continuing education, and matters related to retired staff.

Zhou began his career in July 1995 after earning a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics Education from Southwest Normal University. He went on to receive a master’s degree in Applied Mathematics and a Ph.D. in Mineral Exploration and Prospecting, both from CDUT. Over the years, he has held a variety of positions at CDUT, including Deputy Director and Director of the Department of Information and Computational Science, Director of the Mathematics Laboratory at the College of Information Management, Assistant to the Dean and Vice Dean of the College of Information Management, Vice Dean of the College of Management Science, Deputy Director of the Faculty Affairs Department of the Party Committee, Deputy Director of the Human Resources Office, and Acting Director of the Faculty Development Center. He later served as Director of the Faculty Affairs Department of the Party Committee, Director of the Human Resources Office, and Director of the Faculty Development Center. In May 2023, he was appointed as a member of the Standing Committee of the CPC CDUT Committee and Vice President of CDUT.

Zhou Zhongli’s teaching and research focus on mathematical geology, decision theory, and methods. He has led over 10 national and provincial-level scientific research and teaching reform projects, including General Programs of the National Natural Science Foundation of China, projects under the National Key R&D Program of China, and key projects from the Science & Technology Department of Sichuan Province. He has published more than 50 academic papers and authored six textbooks and monographs. His work has earned him a Second Prize of the National Teaching Achievement Award, First, Second, and Third Prizes of the Sichuan Provincial Teaching Achievement Award, a Third Prize of the Sichuan Provincial Science and Technology Progress Award, and a Second Prize of the Land and Resources Science and Technology Award from the Ministry of Land and Resources.
