Introduction to the report: The outbreak of the Russia-Ukraine war has caused a crisis in the global natural gas supply. Before the war, more than 50% of the EU's gas consumption relied on the Russia-Europe pipeline. The Russia-Ukraine war and the sanctions imposed on Russia by Western countries has led to changes in this supply-demand relationship. European countries have to compete with Asian countries for gas sources. In Asia, China, Japan, South Korea and Taiwan of China are natural gas importing countries and regions. These countries and regions have the same source of natural gas imports. Under the current international market in short supply, they are competing with each other to seize the source of natural gas to their utmost efforts. In the traditional energy structure, the proportion of natural gas is increasing. The security of natural gas supply can not only affect national economic development but also determine the status of related countries in the international competition. The report covers: 1. The global natural gas production situation; 2.The relationship between natural gas exploration and development and LNG sales; 3.Importing countries' strategies to seize gas sources; 4.The impact of international conflicts on natural gas production.
