From 12 to 25 July 2025, Oxford Brookes College hosted a two-week summer study camp in the United Kingdom. The program was designed to provide students with valuable opportunities for cross-cultural exchange and academic exploration, helping them broaden their international horizons and strengthen their overall competence.

The First Week

During the first week, students toured London’s historic landmarks, visited the Morgan Motor Company, and explored the University of Oxford, the University of Cambridge, as well as leading London institutions (Imperial College London and University College London). They also attended courses at both Imperial College and Oxford, gaining first-hand exposure to the academic rigour, rich campus culture, and distinctive British atmosphere.

From rigorous classroom learning to immersive cultural excursions, students expanded their global perspectives, sharpened their communication and adaptability, and experienced the vibrancy of multicultural exchange.

In the second week, students travelled to Manchester, the “City of Football,” and Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland. They visited Old Trafford Stadium, and explored the iconic Edinburgh Castle, gaining a deeper appreciation of the region’s rich cultural and historical heritage.

Although the program lasted only two weeks, it was a journey full of growth and achievement. Beyond the accumulation of knowledge, students also developed independence and resilience. This invaluable overseas study experience is expected to serve as a cornerstone in their future academic and professional pursuits. We look forward to seeing more students take part in international exchanges and create their own exciting chapters abroad.
