From June 5th to 8th, Zeng Ying, member of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and Vice President of CDUT, led a delegation to Morocco. The delegation visited Hassan II University of Casablanca (UH2C, Université Hassan Ii De Casablanca) and the National School of Mines of Rabat (ENSMR, Ecole Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Rabat) to foster educational exchanges. This visit, part of the Sichuan Higher Education Delegation, was a key initiative to implement the open development strategy of the Sichuan Provincial Party Committee and Sichuan Provincial Government, aimed at enhancing friendly exchanges and practical cooperation between Sichuan and Morocco in higher education.
On June 6th, Zeng Ying and the delegation conducted a thorough inspection of the teaching and research facilities at UH2C. In a detailed discussion with Professor Mustafa, the Vice President of UH2C, they explored CDUT’s specialized programs, discipline development, and talent cultivation. They reached several agreements on joint talent training, international Chinese education, faculty and student exchanges, and research collaboration.

On the morning of June 7th, Zeng Ying attended the China (Sichuan) - Morocco Education and Technology Cooperation Exchange Conference in Rabat as a representative of higher education institutions. A photo of CDUT signing a cooperation agreement with Central University of Ecuador was featured at the Sichuan Science and Education Photo Exhibition during the conference. The exhibit attracted guests from both China and Morocco, who praised CDUT’s significant progress in advancing international industry-academia-research collaborations.

In the afternoon of June 7th, the Sichuan Higher Education Delegation hosted the “Charming Sichuan” Higher Education Exhibition at the China Cultural Center in Rabat. Zeng Ying presented to over 300 student representatives from ENSMR, UH2C, Ibn Tofaïl University, Hassan I University, the National Conservatory of Music and Dance of Rabat, and the Moulay Rachid Conservatory of Music and Dance, detailing CDUT’s unique attributes, leading disciplines, and international education programs. The event was lively and well-attended, with many students visiting the booth to learn about our study abroad programs, expressing keen interest in studying at CDUT.

Education Exhibition
The exchange conference and higher education exhibition were jointly organized by the Sichuan Provincial People’s Government and the Moroccan Ministry of Higher Education, Scientific Research, and Innovation, and co-organized by the Sichuan Provincial Department of Education and the Sichuan Provincial Department of Science and Technology.
This successful visit and higher education exhibition have laid a robust foundation for CDUT to expand educational and research cooperation with Moroccan universities. Moving forward, CDUT will strengthen ties, continue to align cooperation needs, and work towards signing further cooperation agreements.
