From May 14 to 16, 2024, the 48th Indonesian Petroleum Association (IPA) Convention and Exhibition took place in Jakarta. At this prominent event, Greatwall Drilling Co., Ltd. (GWDC), as the international university-enterprise cooperation partner of CDUT, introduced CDUT to Indonesian research institutions and exhibitors, promoting the 2024 “Study at CDUT” program and further strengthening international cooperation between the university and industry.
During the exhibition, GWDC showcased the rich academic offerings, high-quality teaching resources, and excellent campus environment of CDUT to Indonesian students. Detailed presentations and promotions drew significant interests and inquiries from many Indonesian students. Through this international university-enterprise partnership, the “Study at CDUT” program continues to expand its international outreach, enhancing CDUT’s global presence.
Presentation Highlights
The IPA Convention and Exhibition is one of the largest and most prestigious professional exhibitions in the Asia-Pacific region, attracting over 200 leading global oil and gas companies, technology suppliers, and industry experts, with more than 18,000 attendees. Since CDUT signed a cooperation agreement with GWDC of China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC) in March this year, both parties have been actively promoting international industry-university-research collaboration. GWDC, a subsidiary of CNPC, is a professional oil engineering technology service company with international operations in Africa, the Americas, the Middle East, and Central Asia. As the only company in China’s petroleum drilling industry with over 20 years of overseas operation experience, GWDC has provided engineering and technical services to over 130 overseas clients and established its own brand with high recognition in the international oil services market.
