| Our University Held a Special International Student Enrollment Promotion at the Central University of Ecuador
Since our university reached a framework cooperation agreement and signed a memorandum of cooperation with the University of Central Ecuador (UCE) on December 9 last year, the two parties have been actively exploring further cooperation. On October 19, our university entrusted its strategic partner CNPC Chuanqing Drilling Company (CCDC) to present lectures and exchanges at UCE. Li Jun, director of CCDC Ecuador Branch, introduced in detail the enrollment policy of international students in our university. Gustavo Pinto, dean of the School of Petroleum Geology, Mining and Environmental Engineering, UCE, led 38 faculty members, student union presidents and student representatives to attend the lecture.

Our university is advantaged in disciplines such as geology, energy, resource science, and environmental science, and it has laid a good foundation for cooperation with the UCE. We believe that the two sides will cultivate more international professionals for the two countries through academic research, educational programs, faculty-student exchanges, joint academic conferences and lectures, joint scientific research projects, and international courses.

The International Student Enrollment Promotion held at the UCE is a school-level exchange initiated by our school with positive on-site teacher-student exchanges and interactions and enthusiastic responses. UCE hopes to have further exchanges with our school. For example, we can offer international Chinese courses and carry out cooperation in related scientific research projects. This promotion not only served as an innovation of overseas enrollment publicity model, but also laid a more solid foundation for future school-enterprise cooperation and further promotion of the "Belt and Road CDUT Action Plan".
