On the morning of June 14, 2025, the inauguration ceremony of the Chengdu University of Technology (CDUT) Business School Alumni Association and the 2025 University-Industry Cooperation Forum were successfully held in the Lecture Hall of the Ninth Teaching Building. Over 300 participants, including university leaders, alumni, corporate representatives, faculty, and students, attended the event. Among the distinguished guests were Hu Bing, Deputy Party Secretary of CDUT, and Guo Qiang, Member of the Party Standing Committee and Vice President of CDUT.

In his opening address, Hu Bing extended warm congratulations on the establishment of the Business School Alumni Association and a heartfelt welcome to returning alumni and visiting entrepreneurs. He noted that the association is not only a place for reminiscing but also a powerful platform for mutual empowerment and progress. He expressed hope that alumni would stay closely connected with the university and contribute fresh momentum to its development, working together to write a new chapter of unity, empowerment, and shared success.

The representative of the Business School presented an overview of the alumni association’s founding process. A head of the Alumni Office read the official Approval for Establishing A Business School Alumni Association. On-site elections were held to appoint the inaugural council members of the association, and appointment letters were formally issued.
Hu Bing presented the official flag to mark the founding of the association, while Guo Qiang awarded certificates of appreciation to alumni donors.

Outstanding alumni representative Jiang Chaowen and exemplary student representative Jin Xiangkuan both delivered speeches. They fondly recalled their time at CDUT, expressed deep gratitude to their alma mater, and shared sincere hopes for its future development.

As a highlight of the forum, 13 enterprises signed university-industry cooperation agreements with CDUT, and appointment letters were awarded to 101 newly appointed career mentors. Keynote speeches were delivered by Deng Jianping, Chairman of Chengdu Data Group; Li Yan, Chairwoman of Chengdu Union Power International Tax Consultancy Ltd.; and Ran Lichun, Executive President and Secretary General of the Sichuan Chain Business Association.
