On January 19, 2024, the Ministry of Emergency Management of the People’s Republic of China sent a thank-you letter to Chengdu University of Technology (CDUT), expressing gratitude for the contributions made by Ji Feng from the university.

The letter mentioned that on December 18, a 6.2-magnitude earthquake occurred in Jishishan County, Linxia, Gansu. In accordance with the major decisions and deployments of the Party Central Committee and the State Council regarding earthquake relief and post-disaster recovery and reconstruction, the Ministry of Emergency Management dispatched various departments and experts in relevant fields to guide and assist in earthquake disaster loss assessment. Ji Feng, from CDUT, went deep into the frontline of the disaster area, played a supporting role with his professionalism, and successfully completed the assigned tasks.
