CDUT Held a Cooperation and Exchange Symposium with Sinopec Exploration Company
On the morning of November 3, CDUT held a cooperation and exchange symposium with Sinopec Exploration Company in the Third Conference Room in the Administrative Building of CDUT. Vice Party Secretary and President Liu Qingyou, Vice President Xu Qiang, and Vice President Hou Mingcai of CDUT, and Party Secretary Hu Dongfeng and General Manager & Deputy Party Secretary Wang Guoli of Sinopec Exploration Company attended the symposium. Heads of relevant bodies of the two sides also participated in the symposium chaired by Xu Qiang.

Liu Qingyou warmly welcomed Hu Dongfeng and his delegation and expressed sincere gratitude to Sinopec Group for their long-term care, support and assistance to the development of CDUT. He said that in recent years, CDUT had entered a fast track for the development of high-quality connotations and given full play to its own advantages, aimed at the international scientific and technological frontier and major national needs, and aligned itself with the national major projects, strategies, and plans, actively serving national and local economic and social development. He hoped that the two sides would have further exchanges on the basis of existing cooperation, and work together to establish an innovation consortium and make more joint achievements in talent training, scientific research, technical services, achievement declaration, etc. CDUT would continue to develop youth teams in the forms of "bringing in" and "going out" to help the Company solve problems in production.

Hu Dongfeng said that in recent years, CDUT had delivered many high-quality talents for Sinopec Exploration Company. He thanked CDUT for its strong support for the development of the Company. And he mentioned that CDUT had maintained long-term good cooperation with Sinopec Group in multiple aspects, including oil and gas exploration and development, with fruitful results and remarkable achievements. He hoped that in the future, on the basis of long-term friendly cooperation, the two sides would further strengthen communication and exchanges, and constantly improve cooperation, especially in-depth cooperation in such aspects as talent training and oil and gas exploration and development technology innovation, help each other make breakthroughs in exploration, achieve mutual benefits and win-win results, firmly promote the high-quality development of oil and gas exploration in new areas, and make new contributions to the national energy strategy and the development of western China.

At the symposium, Hou Mingcai introduced the discipline development, scientific research platform, technological innovation, and other basic conditions of CDUT, and summarized the cooperative development achievements of CDUT and Sinopec Exploration Company over the years. Duan Jinbao, Manager of the Oil and Gas Exploration Management Department of Sinopec Exploration Company, introduced the Company's basic conditions and recent exploration progress and put forward work ideas and difficulties in key areas.
Both sides had in-depth exchanges on furthering basic research, promoting talent training, and advancing Sinopec's construction of production places.
Before the symposium, the delegation led by Hu Dongfeng also visited the State Key Laboratory of Oil and Gas Reservoir Geology and Exploration.
