On the morning of December 28, Wang Zhifu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of BGP INC., China National Petroleum Corporation., together with Wang Ximing, President and General Manager of Optical Science and Technology LTD. CNPC made a visit to our university, signing a university-enterprise cooperation agreement with the State Key Laboratory of Geohazard Prevention and Geological Environmental Protection (SKLGP). Gong Hao, Secretary of the Party Committee of Chengdu University of Technology (CDUT), Xu Qiang, Vice President of CDUT, Feng Wenkai, Deputy Director of SKLGP, and Juneng Pan, Director of the Development Planning and Discipline Construction Division attended the signing ceremony.

On behalf of our university, Vice President Xu Qiang signed a cooperation agreement with Wang Zhifu, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of BGP INC., China National Petroleum Corporation., receiving a controllable seismic source vehicle provided by BGP for jointly developing SKLGP and carrying out scientific research cooperation, which opened a new chapter for comprehensive cooperation between the two sides.

According to the agreement, both sides will fully make coordinated cooperation in scientific and technological innovation, jointly promoting the development of basic theoretical research and applied technology. After the university-enterprise partnership was established, relevant cooperation will be carried out in the study of the frequent occurrence mechanism of geological hazards and environmental effects in southwestern China including Sichuan based on the principles of coordination, mutual assistance and win-win.
