On September 10, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Peng Qinghua visited our laboratory’s Professor Pei Xiangjun who was working, sent him holiday greetings, and extended sincere condolences to the faculty and staff of the school.

  After hearing the researchers report about their efforts in laboratory construction, scientific research achievements and talent training, Peng communicated with them on issues of monitoring and warning of geological disasters as well as ecological restoration. Then, he praised the accomplishments of the lab for their teaching during the epidemic time, and encouraged them to achieve more for improving theoretical research and the practical applications, and for high-quality development of Sichuan.
