On the afternoon of June 23, four representatives of State Key Laboratory of Coal Mine Disaster Dynamics and Control came to SKLGP for research and discussion. The symposium was held in Conference Room 318 of the SKLGP. Hu Qianting, Chief Professor of State Key Laboratory of Coal Mine Disaster Dynamics and Control, Liu Qingyou, President of CDUT, and the relevant responsible persons from Environment and Civil Engineering（CDUT）and SKLGP attended the meeting. Zhao Jianjun, deputy director of the SKLGP, hosted the meeting.

Symposium Scene

Liu Qingyou welcomed the experts and scholars represented by Hu Qianting at the meeting. He said that Chengdu University of Technology and Chongqing University have a deep historical relationship and share the same professional lineage. He highlighted the traditional advantages of geology of our university, which was listed as the "world-class discipline", as well as the special development routes of the "Everest Talent Project" and "Everest Scientific Research Project". He hoped that our university and Chongqing University could take advantage of the development of the twin-city economic circle, strengthen the cooperation and exchange between the two universities, develop together and move forward together.

Zhao Jianjun introduced the basic situation of SKLGP from several aspects, such as history, target orientation, research directions, the scale of operation, management mode, team composition, and main tasks. Hu Qianting introduced the State Key Laboratory of Coal Mine Disaster Dynamics and Control of Chongqing University from several aspects, such as development history, talent team and scientific research achievements.

During the discussion, the two sides discussed various technical topics such as "landslide early warning", "geological disaster monitoring and early warning", "coal mine gas blowout prevention and collapse technology", and "efficient development of gas". Both sides expected that they would share their views and ideas, explore new directions in interdisciplinary cooperation and joint declaration of topics between the two State Key Laboratories through this symposium.

After the meeting, the attendees visited SKLGP.
