On the morning of June 9, Sichuan Branch of China National Geological Exploration Center of Building Material Industry (the Branch for short) came to the State Key Laboratory of Geohazard Prevention and Geoenvironment Protection (hereinafter referred to as SKLGP) of the Chengdu University of Technology (CDUT) for research and discussion. The symposium was held in Conference Room 318. Sun Tiegang, the chief of the Branch, Zhang Xu, the deputy general manager of China Southwest Geotechnical investigation & Design Institute Co, Ltd, and Gao Ruixiang, the chief engineer of the second team, Ju Nengpan, the member of the standing committee of CDUT committee of CPC and vice president of the University, and Zhao Jianjun, the deputy director of SKLGP, attended the meeting, which was presided over by Ju Nengpan.

At the meeting, Deputy Director Zhao Jianjun introduced the basic information of the SKLGP in terms of its history, target orientation, research direction and management mode.
He Chaoyang, a permanent researcher in the SKGLP, introduced the key technologies of 3D digital earth and shared its application and effect in the geohazard monitoring and warning platform; Besides, Huang Jian gave a detailed introduction to the Overground-underground integrated Modeling technology and its related achievements; In addition, Deng Fei demonstrated the self-developed 3D geological modeling software and its related algorithms as well as shared its cases of application in the industry; What’s more, Dong Xiujun presented the application of the 3D laser scanning technology in geohazard investigation and the self-developed remote sensing interpretation platform for geohazard.
Sun Tiegang recognized the achievements of the SKGLP in 3D modeling geohazard monitoring and warning, and gave a detailed introduction to the basic information of the Branch. As the Center has been undertaking the task to build green mines in Yunnan, Guizhou and Sichuan Provinces while facing difficulties in the construction of mines environment, he hoped to fulfil the goals such as building intelligent information cloud platform, mines environment monitoring mechanism through the cooperation with research teams of SKLGP.

Mr. Ju Nengpan gave a warm welcome to Sun’s team. He expected to strengthen the bilateral cooperation, so as to promote technical exchanges and resources integration of projects such as building green mines. He also hoped that the two sides could share mines construction technologies and set a standard for building green mines, thus providing effective basis for platform construction. Moreover, Mr. Ju pointed out that the construction of green mines information platform is promising and the system is huge, which needs long-term attention and continuous follow-up and improvement. He hoped that we could take the cooperation of the project as the starting point and lay a solid foundation for in-depth cooperation of the next step.
