Recently, the Philosophy and Social Sciences Classic Literature Platform announced its first batch of selected classic literature. Also included was the research paper The “Cooperation Paradox” of Regional Coordinated Development and Pathways by Associate Professor Bai Ye and Professor Huang Tao from the School of Marxism.
The Philosophy and Social Sciences Classic Literature Platform is a sub-platform of the Philosophy and Social Sciences Independent Knowledge System Digital Innovation Platform, developed by the Books and Newspaper Materials Center at RUC. It centrally showcases the primary literature resources in the field of Chinese philosophy and social sciences.
It is reported that the initial selection for the Philosophy and Social Sciences Classic Literature included approximately 4 million normative academic papers published in the field from 2013 to 2022. These papers span 25 first-level, 107 second-level disciplines, and interdisciplinary fields within philosophy and social sciences. A total of 1,312 experts nationwide were invited to form the review groups for each discipline. They conducted both mail and meeting reviews, ultimately selecting 20,621 papers for inclusion in the first-phase database of the classic literature. The selected papers represent less than 1% of all publicly published academic papers.
