A vibrant dance performance by students from Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh reflected the exuberance of youth and the richness of multiculturalism. Nigerian student Nsikakabasi W.N. mesmerized the audience with a captivating saxophone performance, while his fellow Nigerian student Ibrahim Kunle Adefarati energized the audience with a song performance. Additionally, a yoga dance performance by students from Nigeria and Pakistan provided a refreshing visual experience for all.

Cultural Showcase

The cultural experience segment allowed international students to immerse themselves in traditional Chinese customs. In the area for writing Spring Festival couplets and the Fu character (which means happiness in English), students practiced Chinese calligraphy, marveling at the charm of Chinese characters. In the dumpling-making area, they enjoyed the hands-on experience of preparing this beloved Chinese dish. Interactive games further heightened the celebratory atmosphere, with activities such as passing the flower while drumming, the New Years chair battle, Pearl in the Palm, and a lucky draw. These engaging activities attracted enthusiastic participation from many students, creating an electric atmosphere. At the events conclusion, leaders and faculty members from the CIE presented New Years red envelopes (Hongbao) to the international students, extending their heartfelt wishes and affirming the support and care from the leadership of both CIE and CDUT.
