In an effort to broaden the international horizons of our students, offer opportunities for international exchange and hands-on professional experience through internships at leading multinational companies and visits to prestigious universities, CDUT, in collaboration with XHES & Company, is launching the 2025 Winter Internships at Hong Kong Multinational Corporations and Visits to Universities in Hong Kong, Macao and Singapore program. The details of the information session and program are as follows:

02 Program Overview
(1) Internships at Multinational Corporations in Hong Kong
This program is designed to provide our top students with the opportunity to join prestigious financial institutions in Hong Kong. Guided by accomplished industry mentors, participants will collaborate with outstanding peers from universities across the country in an intensive 7-day professional internship program. Over the course of this week, students will gain immersive, hands-on exposure to the workplace of financial professionals, deepen their understanding of global financial practices, experience the corporate cultures of internationally renowned companies, work effectively in diverse teams, interact with senior executives from top global firms, and compete for highly coveted recommendation letters from these executives. This invaluable experience will significantly enhance students’ credentials for future applications to study abroad programs or roles at leading multinational corporations.
1. Internship Overview
The internship program will include a wide range of activities, such as global financial market analysis, designing financial planning proposals, analyzing investment case studies, participating in fund investment competitions, engaging in CashFlow simulation competitions, delivering client case study presentations, drafting project proposals, and receiving workplace leadership training. As part of the company’s management trainee curriculum, participants will develop essential professional skills and knowledge while completing daily tasks and reports under the guidance of experienced corporate mentors.
In addition to the core internship activities, mentors will lead students on visits to renowned local universities, government institutions, and cultural landmarks, allowing them to explore the local culture, gain fresh perspectives, and experience different ways of thinking. Over the course of seven days, students will engage in a comprehensive mix of theoretical learning and hands-on practice, progressively immersing themselves in the high-pressure yet rewarding world of the financial industry.

(2) Study Visits to Prestigious Universities in Hong Kong
1. Program Overview
This program offers students the opportunity to travel to Hong Kong and study at one of the region’s top three universities—The University of Hong Kong, The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology, or The Chinese University of Hong Kong—while fully immersing themselves in the academic atmosphere of the city. The curriculum includes a wide range of topics, such as leadership in the knowledge economy, market research and strategy, investor relations management, corporate management and digital transformation strategies, artificial intelligence, and other comprehensive skill-building courses.
Participants will have the chance to interact closely with distinguished professors, gaining insights into the academic systems of world-leading institutions. The program combines rigorous theoretical study with practical application, equipping students with internationally aligned professional knowledge and significantly enhancing their academic and professional competencies.
The teaching staff consists of seasoned professors with extensive experience in their fields. Through engaging, case-based teaching methods, students will develop strong problem-solving and practical skills. This program also provides a holistic experience of the academic and cultural environment of Hong Kong’s premier universities, allowing students to appreciate the distinctive charm of these globally renowned institutions.

(3) Study Visits to Prestigious Universities in Macao
1. Program Overview
This program will take students to Macao, where they will fully immerse themselves in the academic environment of renowned universities such as the Macau University of Science and Technology and the City University of Macau. Students will study at one of these institutions, exploring courses on topics such as blockchain operations and development, opportunities brought by the Belt and Road Initiative and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, financial technology innovation, marketing, and hospitality and tourism management.
Participants will have the chance to engage closely with distinguished professors and senior executives from leading companies, gaining valuable insights into both academic and industry perspectives. Beyond the classroom, the program includes visits to prominent local companies, such as the Bank of China Macao Branch and Sands China Ltd. Students will have the rare opportunity to hold face-to-face discussions with company executives and HR professionals, providing an inside look into the recruitment standards of top-tier firms.
Through this program, participants will experience Macao’s unique blend of international cultures and innovative learning environments, offering a fresh perspective on academic and professional development.
The program will also offer students the opportunity to explore the local culture of Macao, including visits to its historical and cultural landmarks. This will allow students to fully immerse themselves in the cultural atmosphere of the region. Over the course of the 7-day program, students will experience the unique academic and cultural appeal of Macao’s universities.

1. Program Overview
This program offers students a unique opportunity to pursue advanced studies at one of Singapore’s top universities, either the National University of Singapore or Nanyang Technological University. Students will immerse themselves in the world-class academic systems of these institutions, acquiring international-level expertise and enhancing their professional skills. The courses are taught by experienced professors who combine theoretical knowledge with practical applications, using case studies to strengthen students’ problem-solving abilities and practical competence. In addition to academics, students will experience the academic atmosphere and cultural environment of Singapore’s prestigious universities, gaining a deep appreciation of the distinct charm of these world-class institutions. The program includes university-level courses, student exchanges, visits to government and business organizations, cultural excursions, and a final competition, providing students with an enriching experience of Singapore’s academic strengths and local culture.
University Rankings: According to the QS World University Rankings 2024, the National University of Singapore is ranked 8th globally and 1st in Asia.

05 Eligibility Requirements
1. Full-time undergraduate and graduate students at CDUT;
2. A strong sense of patriotism and loyalty, with good political conduct;
3. In good physical and mental health, capable of completing the required tasks for the programs;
4. Families with sufficient financial resources to cover the program costs.
Note: These programs are open to students from all majors and year levels.
