02 Program Overview

The United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), established in 1963, is a specialized training agency directly under the United Nations General Assembly. It operates four main offices worldwide: the Geneva Headquarters, the New York Office, the Hiroshima Office, and the Bonn Office.

This seven-day program, launched by the UNITAR Hiroshima Office, is part of its pioneering “Youth Global Competence Cultivation Program.” It aims to build pathways for young people to engage in global governance and to contribute to the vision of a more inclusive and sustainable future.


03 Program Information

Program Dates:

First session: January 25–31, 2026

Second session: February 1–7, 2026

Program Location:

Hiroshima and Fukuoka, Japan

Language of Instruction: English

International Organization: UNITAR Hiroshima Office

Note:

Due to the operational arrangements of UNITAR, minor adjustments to the itinerary may occur. However, the quality of the program will remain unchanged, and participants will be informed in advance whenever possible.


04 Program Fee

Program Fee: RMB 9,800 per person

Fee Includes:

UNITAR training courses, guest lectures, site visits and related activities, accommodation (three-star hotels, twin rooms with breakfast), designated group transportation, insurance (medical and accident), pre-departure guidance, cultural experience activities in Hiroshima and Fukuoka, one farewell lunch, and venue costs.

Fee Excludes:

Round-trip airfare between China and Japan, passport and visa fees, lunch and dinner expenses, transportation not included in the scheduled itinerary, personal expenditures during the program, and additional costs arising from individual needs.


05 Program Application

· Lectures delivered by UNITAR experts, with an official certificate to enhance your CV;

· Immersive English classes and case-based learning to strengthen analytical and communication skills;

· In-depth understanding of the “International Organization Talent Development Program” to develop professional competencies for global public service;

· Exploration of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) to expand global vision.

· Certificate Awarded: Official program certificate issued by the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR)
