To further deepen university-enterprise collaboration and jointly pursue innovation-driven development, on July 22, Liu Qingyou, Party Secretary of Chengdu University of Technology (CDUT), led a delegation to visit Chengdu LEPS Technology Co., Ltd., an enterprise founded by a CDUT alumnus. Deputy Party Secretary Hu Bing accompanied the visit.

Before the exchange meeting, Yang Hao, Deputy Manager of LEPS’s Research and Development Center, guided Secretary Liu and his delegation on a tour of the company’s laboratories and gave a detailed presentation on the company’s recent technological achievements. Both parties engaged in preliminary discussions on areas of mutual interest, laying the groundwork for future in-depth collaboration.

Visit to the LEPS Laboratory
During the exchange meeting, Li Chengyong, Deputy Director of the State Key Laboratory of Oil and Gas Reservoir Geology and Exploitation at CDUT, shared the university’s cutting-edge research outcomes in energy exploration and development. He highlighted breakthroughs in deep shale gas exploitation and the utilization of unconventional oil and gas resources. Pang Bin, Deputy Director of the General Office at LEPS, elaborated on the company’s development strategy centered on technological innovation and presented its independently developed technologies and intellectual property in the field of oil and gas production enhancement. The two sides held in-depth discussions on leveraging their complementary strengths to promote university-enterprise cooperation. Looking ahead, both parties expressed their commitment to deepening integration across industry, academia, and research. They aim to build innovation platforms, enhance innovation-oriented mechanisms, break away from conventional technological paths, pursue differentiated R&D and international collaboration, address practical industrial challenges, and promote high-quality development across the sector.
