Cross-Cultural Business Expansion: Oxford Brookes College Hosts Global Case Study Seminar

On February 22, 2025, Oxford Brookes College hosted a case study seminar on global business perspectives at Teaching Building 8. Students from the college engaged in in-depth discussions with an elite group of EMBA and MBA scholars and entrepreneurs from Poland, exchanging insights on global business trends and innovative strategies.

Rafał Mrówka Welcomes Participants

The seminar was structured into two sessions. In the morning, Professor Rafał Mrówka, course coordinator and program director, delivered the opening remarks, introducing a case study on the strategic challenges faced by multinational corporations. Participants, divided into seven mixed teams of Chinese students and international experts, examined the struggles of CWS-boco in China and the complexity of the tasks faced by Andreas. Participants proposed their own solutions and explored strategies for overcoming business obstacles in cross-cultural environments.

Sharing Perspectives

During the afternoon presentation session, the seven groups showcased their research findings. Their topics covered a wide range of issues, including the globalization of Chinese football, AI-supported e-commerce platforms, market expansion strategies for door systems, promotion of Polish frozen foods and cosmetics, the development of educational platforms, and business training programs for Chinese enterprises entering the European market. Each group proposed innovative solutions tailored to the Chinese market and conducted in-depth analyses of critical business development issues.

By engaging in this seminar, students broadened their global perspectives, enhanced communication and collaboration with international entrepreneurs and scholars, and deepened their understanding of multicultural business environments.
