On December 25, the College of International Education convened the 2024-2025 academic year end-of-semester thematic education meeting for international students. The meeting centered on key topics such as education on China’s realities, legal regulations, CDUT rules and regulations, examination discipline, dormitory safety, and daily behavioral guidelines. Attendees included Li Shan, dean of the College of International Education, Chen Qian, director of the Office of General Affairs, and staff from the International Students Office.

To promote self-management, self-service, self-education, and self-supervision among international students, Li Shan and Chen Qian presented appointment letters to the core members of the International Students Association (ISA).

This meeting reinforced students’ awareness of legal compliance, academic integrity, safety consciousness, and other essential aspects. Looking ahead, our college will continue to offer comprehensive, diverse, and expansive opportunities for exchange and learning, with the aim of cultivating globally-minded individuals who possess international perspectives and cross-cultural communication abilities. At the same time, we remain committed to strengthening the education and management of international students, contributing to the high-quality development of CDUT’s international student programs.
