The Ministry of Education, through the Department of Education of Sichuan Province, has officially informed CDUT that, following a review and approval process, it has been entrusted with the responsibility of hosting and training students under the prestigious Chinese Government Scholarship (CGS) program. This endorsement underscores the Ministry’s recognition of CDUT’s academic excellence, comprehensive strength, and its achievements in international student education, solidifying CDUT’s role as a model institution in the “Double First-Class” initiative.

CGS is a prestigious national-level scholarship program established by the Chinese government to support outstanding international students in pursuing higher education in China. The program aims to foster global exchanges and cooperation in areas such as politics, economics, culture, education, and trade. It also serves as a strategic initiative to enhance the international influence, reputation, and core competitiveness of universities hosting international students.
